We both agreed! If this establishment was situated in the city centre, it would be fully booked every night. But happily it isn’t. This lovely restaurant is a good excuse to make a wonderful boat trip with the NDSM-werf ferry. Feel the wind blowing through your hair, hear the water churning underneath you and get surprised by the visit of a swan at the shore. Then enjoy a tasty dinner at IJkantine in a peaceful environment, before leaving the quitness of this spot and heading back to the active city life.

Another nice hangout in that neighbourhood is Noorderlicht, you’ll have a small beach including campfire to enjoy.

Try the pancake-boat next time, it’s worthwile to make a boat-trip of almost 3 hours while chatting with friends (and eating pancakes as much as you like, of course!)
