It has been busy these last weeks. Dividing time between work, social activities, and walking around in cities during the lovely Indian summer days. That left me with only little time to write, not being able to finish some posts. At this moment I want to share with you some really nice places to eat. They are really worth visiting!

Coffee & Jazz, Amsterdam
I just recently discovered Coffee & Jazz, although they are already 21 years one of the most fantastic Indonesian restaurants in Amsterdam. The owner René is a pure and admirable person, totally crazy and making fun of his guests, but doing that with wit and honesty. The food, prepared by his Indonesian wife Peggy, is the BEST I ever had in an Indonesian restaurant. Just as good as my grandma used to cook. Go there!!

A lovely and cute place to have lunch or dinner. The food is wonderful as well as the environment. Their club sandwiches are my favourite.

De Zakkendrager, Utrecht
My old time favourite! Almost always when I go to Utrecht I will visit De Zakkendrager. Great for lunch, and even better for dinner. Their dishes are prepared with attention and the personnel is warm and friendly, just as the interior of the restaurant. From the closed veranda you have a wonderful view at an old tree. The wooden tables and the decorations make you feel at home right away.

Weer een geweldig Indonesisch restaurant ontdekt! Eerder schreef ik over Blauw in Amsterdam, in Rotterdam moet je naar Indonesia. Ja, Em! Zelfs jij zou het hier heerlijk vinden. Ik ga er niet te veel woorden aan wijden, want je zult het echt zelf moeten ervaren. Gelukkig werk ik sinds kort op nog geen tien meter afstand van dit geweldige restaurant. Dus 1x raden waar je me wekelijks vindt.
